How to Be Saved!
How to Be Saved......
"Saved" is a term used to describe someone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord.

"Saved" means the same thing as "Born-again" or the word "Salvation".

You can't be "saved" by your good looks, good works, or by being a good person doing good things. The only way anyone can be saved is by God's Grace alone.  Grace is a gift that God offers to each of us.
The way God chose to deliver this gift was through the shed blood of His Son Jesus, who was nailed to a wooden cross. While on the cross, Jesus died as atonement for all our sins, yours and mine. Sin means separation from God.When you sin, you are seperating yourself from God's plan for your life.

After Jesus died on the cross, He was buried in a guarded tomb. On the third day, He arose from the grave. When Jesus Christ arose, He gave all mankind the opportunity to be able to experience eternal life in heaven. But God loves you enough to give you a choice and free-will to choose where you want to spend eternity.

The Bible teaches alot about eternity. When we die, our souls will spend eternity in either a wonderful place called Heaven, or a horrible place of torment called Hell. There is no other place where our souls will spend eternity.  Hell is a real place designed for Satan and his demons. God never intended for any of us to spend eternity in the torments of Hell.

But because of God's love for us, He gives you a choice. Heaven or Hell.
It's that simple. God wants you to choose to spend eternal life with Him
in Heaven. God also wants you to experience an abundant life here on earth as well! So, what do you need to do?

The first step is to ask Jesus to save you.
This requires you to admit to yourself and to Jesus that you are a sinner.

Next you need to ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins.

Next You need to acknowledge to Jesus your belief that His Word is true,
that you believe He came to this earth for you, that He lived for you,
went to the cross for you, died on that cross for you, and was buried
and arose from the grave, so that you could have everlasting life in
heaven.

Next
you need to commit to Jesus your desire to repent and change
direction in your life. To repent means to turn from sin and self and
to turn to Jesus Christ to be your Savior and Lord.
Next you need to ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and be your
Lord and Savior. You need to commit yourself to live for Him with all your
mind, heart, and soul and to do your best to let others see Him at work in
you.

Once you have followed these steps through prayer, you are saved!

The second step is "Believer's Baptism".
Although your salvation is secure through Christ Jesus, the world does
not know of your decision yet. Believer's Baptism is a public profession of faith that symbolizes the celebration of your salvation.

The third step is to get connected with a local church family.
God never intends us to go through life alone. He has designed us for
relationship, fellowship, and discipleship. God has a church family that
you need and that needs you. You will never grow or mature to realize
God's purpose and plan for your life if you do not stay connected with
a Bible-believing and teaching church and fellowship. Get involved in
a Sunday School, Bible study, or small group for new believers.
This will help you establish the discipleship that God wants for your life!

The fourth and final step is the hardest, Live what you've been given!
True salvation requires true life transformation. You've got to begin today,
right now, where you are, to make the most of your new life with Christ.
Stay in and true to God's Word daily. Establish and maintain a strong prayer life. Strive daily to be a better person in Christ Jesus. Be an active
part in your church. Work towards to goal for other to always see and feel the love of Jesus Christ through you!
You were saved to make a difference!
