For New Believers....
Congratulations! Your decision to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior is the first step to what can be the greatest life you will ever experience this side of heaven! The next is to get into a church that is bible-believing and bible-based. You won't be able to grow strong in your walk with Christ if you are not an active part of a church family. You need a church that will love you and nurture you as a new believer. As always, we would love for you to come and become a part of our church family. However, if you are out of the Charleston or Tri-County area, and need to find a church, we will be glad to assist you.
The next thing you will need is your own Bible. It is important that you use a translation that you can understand and comprehend, yet at the same time, not compromise the meaning of the original text as God intended. If you need help with selecting which translation is best for you, we will be glad to assist you.
The Holy Bible is the most important book you will ever need and read in your life. You will not grow as a Christian without reading your bible daily and referring to it as a constant point of reference in your life just as an explorer is dependant on a map.
